InsiderNews.com.au Releases new service that strengthens ability of market participants to detect abnormal trading activity

SYDNEY, June 28 -- Insider News Pty Ltd, today announced it has released a new service that detects unusual trading activity in the stock market and currency markets.

According to the founder of InsiderNews, some market participants still receive information sooner than others despite recent regulations and advances in technology.

However, emerging companies like InsiderNews are working to maintain a level playing field by tracking and displaying stocks experiencing abnormal trading activity.  This abnormal activity may reflect inside information leakage, breaking news or other events that cause a sudden change in market sentiment.

InsiderNews determines unusual trading patterns by simultaneously measuring deviations in money flow  prices, and associated news events and comparing these deviations against historical expected behaviour.

Stocks events that make the InsiderNews list can be viewed in real time.

Compliance departments and regulatory agencies can also use InsiderNews to spot patterns of information leakage that, in many cases, may be indicative of insider trading or other securities-law violations.
