Australian Federal Government - COMET Grant


In February 2005, Insider News Pty Ltd (Information Technology and Software Development Company) was awarded a prestigious AusIndustry Commercialising Emerging Technologies (COMET) grant from the Federal Government to assist with the commercialisation of its innovative software product. The product that received the Federal Governments COMET grant was the Real Time Radar System which today is known in the Market place as the Index Guru.

While the Index Guru was in its development stages, Insider News Pty Ltd was receiving assistance with business planning, market research and formulation of effective marketing strategies, as well as intellectual property advice and technical support with prototyping.

COMET is a very competitive Government program which supports the most promising companies with not just financial assistance but also input from experienced consultant business advisers from the private sector.

Before the Index Guru was officially launched into the Market Place, it was back tested on 10 years of data from relevant Stock Markets around the World.
